About Us

Bill was a publican and when his tenancy came to an end in the late 80’s he was looking for a new business opportunity. He consulted with his vast network of friends and pub regulars and got a lead from someone working in the plant hire business needing desk pads. Bill sought out a paper printing facility and MPB was born.

In the 90’s he got a request for labels and MPB’s diversification journey started! Bill’s son Matthew joined the business in the late 90’s to learn the ropes just as the world was transforming with email and the internet.

Clothing came next, everything from a simple polo shirt through to lovely merino wool jumpers and lots of hi viz! As Bill started to think about retirement his daughter Steph joined the business.

The business grew and we moved to bigger premises in Golborne which is where we are today. Bill retired and Math & Steph took up the reins keeping service at the heart of what we do and how we work.
